The team
Our directors and senior team are qualified fire safety inspectors with more than 60 years of fire and rescue service experience between them, spanning enforcement, community fire safety and high-rise building risk. We recruit our assessors from experienced ex-fire service personnel, and every assessment is carried out or checked by a senior member of the team.
Fire safety inspection
Years spent auditing premises and other assessors' work under the Fire Safety Order: care homes, sheltered and supported housing, hospitals, high-rise residential and heritage buildings. Enforcement and prohibition notices served, prosecutions prepared.
Vulnerable residents and care settings
More than a decade of home fire safety visits, training care staff and partnership work with social services, housing and police to protect vulnerable people, plus lead responsibility for hospital, CQC-registered and supported housing premises.
Building safety and evacuation
Built environment risk management in a high-rise and mid-rise team, backed by 22 years of operational firefighting. Incident-ground experience applied to evacuation strategy and Building Safety Act duties.
Capacity for larger programmes. The directors and senior team are supported by qualified associate assessors, recruited from ex-fire service personnel, so portfolio programmes run to schedule through holidays, absence and peaks in demand. All safeguarding, equality and diversity, conflict management and legal training is kept current.
